What is a Sales Funnel?
A sales funnel is a process in which prospective customers progress from the first stage (awareness) to the final stage (purchase). The steps that people take through this process are typically referred to as “steps” or “levels,” and each of these levels has its own characteristics. What makes a sales funnel different from other marketing tools, like a website, is it takes a customer through the journey of how they become a customer.

What are the different Levels of Sales Funnels?
There are four levels to sales funnels: Awareness, Interest, Consideration and Purchase. At each level, someone is either becoming aware or demonstrating some interest in your product by interacting with it. What’s important is that you know what stage potential customers are at so you can give them exactly what they need.
The Invitation To Enter Your World
A funnel can only be effective if you have an invitation to offer your prospects. This is an offer that is unique to you and your brand and it cannot be found elsewhere. What’s an invitation to enter your world? It can be virtually anything from an eBook to a free consultation service or webinar where this person will be able to experience working with you. What you need to remember is that it needs to appeal specifically to your target audience and will get them excited about what you have on offer.
What are the benefits of sales funnels?
A sales funnel has many benefits because it allows business owners to move away from hard selling and just “funnel” their customers into their list so they can send them offers when they are ready to buy.
Understanding Your Target Market
It is crucial that you are familiar with your target market if you want to create funnels that convert. What is their age, gender, location and interests? What are the products they engage with on a regular basis? What do they like to read about or watch online. And most importantly what their emotional connections are in relation to the situation they are in as they are seeking for you.
Some questions you might want to ask yourself include: What kind of content will appeal to my target market? What information am I willing to share in order for them to trust me enough to buy from me? What are my competitors doing? What is the competition’s target market?”
How To Create Your Own Sales Funnels
The first step in creating your own sales funnel will be to create a plan. What does it look like and what do you want to accomplish with these funnels? What marketing tactics can I use for my business that others have not used.
It helps to think outside of the box. What are some things that you can do to attract your target market? What social media sites will work for me and what other channels should I use to promote my products or services.
What is the best way to advertise on social media these days? What is a good strategy for online advertising?”
