And today is the converting phase of your funnel.
What is a Conversion?
A conversion is actually an action that you invite your audience to do in order to go to the next step of their journey with you. So a conversion doesn’t have to be a purchase, it could be one way of converting people.

This week, we will talk about sales funnels, so I have a target audience template you can use.
Types of Conversion
Type 1: Social Media Traffic
So a conversion could be as simple as sending people from your social media platforms to listen to your podcast and download your podcast. This could be a conversion that shows that people engage with your content, which is a signal that they’re probably gonna buy from you down the road. Or maybe you write a blog. So driving traffic traffic from social media, to your blog article could be a conversion.
Type 2: New Lead
Now another type of conversion, maybe you already have a lot of people, reading your blog, listening to your podcast, watching your YouTube videos, whatever, and you are ready to invite those people to transfer to your email list. So an email, a new email could be a conversion. Or, if you are running a webinar, having someone opt into your webinar could be a conversion, or maybe you run around tables, having someone that attend your round table could be a conversion, someone walked in to buy a program online, is a conversion as well.
Type 3: Buyer
And then from all those people on your email list, or the people you actually meet at that event, whether it’s online or in person, how many of them going to buy from you.
A conversion doesn’t have to be a purchase. A conversion could be anything, any action, that is a signal that people are into what you are offering them whether it’s free or paid.
